I am coming back to myself
the music never died
the poem never ended
and the kiss, so full of promise
never parted my lips.
I say goodbye to all the things that once made me
fly above the needs and desires of the broken me
never to fear again, for all the worst has finally happened, and like the walker among the dreams, the night stole swiftly in
but what has changed, has made light of me
say good bye to all the seeds of desire
fly above the heathen seas
all desire and broken light..
you are what you become
not what became of me
become the light you are
a beacon from afar
to those, who lost at sea, or
lost to me
can come home to be bourne again
onto the walls of Heaven.
that rough beast slunk home to Jerusalem
broken and battered e'r time and tide
awaiting for rebirth
finds itself the victim of seductive whispers
from maidens fair, upon storm tossed sea
at the end of weary toil...
only rocks on headland lea
upon the night, to cast a forlorn, with sadness and cast tired gaze upon the shore
therein sees a light
the hope of re birth upon these shores.
what will you do when you reach the shore? and only find yourself in a shallow puddles reflection?
remember who you were.. fondly and cast that aside
you dont need that anymore.
youve come so far
why burden thyne own self with the t he wrack and wreck of what you were
and trust where you are
upon a new shore
with new roots to sew
who, what any why you were is done
where and when are to be decided every moment from these new born shores
let go of the shadows in the night
those dark ships that passed ominously from sight
are only fragments of a shattered glass
a shuttered past
