Hi, need help so frustrated
Did heavy deadlifts 2 months ago and had severe back pain for 2 weeks after. ( 1 rm @ 265lbs - woman). Painful to even bend over but pain isolated in back, no leg pain at all. Had lots of muscle spasms. Decided to lay off the deadlifts for 2 months.. This week, my Back was feeling much better so did a workout that included 10 dead lifts @ 75 pounds which is very light. While doing the dead lifts the pain came back, it was a shooting sharp pain from the spine across my back. The pain is below the curve of the back and above the glutes.. No leg pain, just pain bending or tender to touch. Wondering if a pulled muscle can take more than 8 weeks to heal or maybe something more serious as herniated disc.
