new herniations

Those of you who already have a spinal cord stimulator, who has herniated another or more discs after implantation of the device? In area where you device covers? Did you have more surgery to fix or just assume there will be more and just keep on keeping on?

  • I started with one disc in the neck and went to each and everyone. Ive had no surgeries. My PM said lets try the stim to avoid the surgerys. Had I had it the discs just get weaker and weaker. I have just one disc thats causing the problems. They dont all need surgery. I feel for ya. Now my neck is so arthritic, bone spurs, and what not..just go with it I guess.
