This pain has been going on for almost 3 years now, and has effected my life in many ways. Mainly, as a student, my academic life has been effected..mainly because it's just so difficult to sit down and do work (I'll explain why below).
The pain is worst when sitting down. It's in my lower back, and it is like a dull, annoying uncomfortable feeling..I don't know if I would even call it pain, it is just extremely uncomfortable to sit down for more than 10 minutes. While I have pain all around the lower back, it seems to be a little worse on the right side. Some days, it gets worse and the pain goes down my hips/buttox area, and even a sharp pain down my right leg.
It is relieved best when I am laying down (either on my stomach or back). Standing up/walking also relieves it. So basically, I experience most of my problems when I'm sitting. I've seen chiroporactors, doctors, a spine specialist, it's like no one actually figures it out. The spine specialist finally decided to do some steroid injections in the SI joint, that didn't work.
Also, a report from a MRI i had done in 2012 says:
"Minimal right facet arthropathy at L5-S1" and "The discs are well-hydrated without protrusions or extrusions. There is subjectively minimal circumferential disc bulge at L4-5 without central canal stenosis or significant foraminal narrowing"
Any thoughts on what I'm dealing with her? Any advice?
