I have a minor disc bulge btwn L4-5, I ran on it for 5 months and biked with it for 2 months. I've decided to stop running, and biking and just focus on strengthening my back so it can heal. About how long will this take? I'm a healthy 19 year old that usually runs around 70 miles a week. What exercises could I do also? Or would this only be cured by surgery? I'm trying to run for my team my last 3 years of college.
