Numbness post laminectomy with Lipoma resection

Hello, I am new to the forum. I am 5 weeks post L1, L2 Laminectomy with removal of a lipoma to the Cauda Equina. I am regretting my decision that I had this done. I have loss of feeling to left leg and foot along with severe tailbone pain and numbness between my legs. I am due to return to work on May 6 which is a desk job. Very depressed and scared that I will never regain feeling. My pain prior to surgery was nothing like it is now. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
