I am having a sciatica flare-up due to DDD for a few weeks now. Took 6 days of oral steroid, which helped a bit and now on prescription anti-inflammatory. Having done no exercise but mild walking.
I am very hesitant to start exercising because there were times when I felt better, I started stretching and it aggravated my sciatica. Today was a better day and I decided to give it a try again, because my hamstrings are extremely tight, which according to what I read, can contribute to the sciatica. And again, it seemed to do more harm than good, although not too much.
I am really confused as to what to do. Can anybody share your experience?
