Chronic all over pain

Does anyone have or is it possible to have degenerative disk disease, osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. I am feeling so bad and my husband said he thinks I have all 3.

  • you need to go see a doctor if you are concerned about this. if it is as serious as you say, you need to see a doctor immediately and get all of the tests that are required.
I have 4 fusions from L5-3, the latest last May '12 where they fixed my disc that broke. They went through my side this time. I take 40 mg of oxycontin 4x a day and 4 fenatyl lollipops 300 micro gms 4x a day.
  • Yes, I have been diagnosed with all three in addition to Sjogrens Syndrome. I take Plaqenil for the Sjogrens. Mobic for arthritis (which is like Celebrex) which seems to help a bit. Also a couple of Norco a day which is similar to Vicodin. Try to keep active and do a lot of stretches with ice afterwards. Good luck. I know it's not fun to always be hurting somewhere.
Artificial disc at L5S1 for 10 years. Had 3 Level lumbar fusion and Laminectomy on Sept 27, 2013. It was an OLIF (Oblique Lumbar Interbody Fusion) with cages, BMP, rods & screws. Norco, Plaquenil
  • Yes, me too, DDD, Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthrititis, instead of Osteo. I also have Sjogrens Syndrome. I hurt all over everyday, I always have an achy all over body feeling, kind of like the flu sometimes with a fever, some days are worse than others. I try to keep myself moving as much as possible, I too use alot of ice and heat when I feel I need that more, but mostly I turn to an ice pack. Have you seen your dr.? If not you should, maybe get a referral to a Rheumatologist for a CBC and a physical. Take care & feel better soon :-)
