Hi there from central France. I am female, 43 married mum of two girls ( 10 and 15). I had a nasty fall from a horse three years back and ever since have had ongoing back problems, herniated disc L5,1 and had many epidurals and finally had to give up my job as a childminder because the lifting was too hard and at night i could barely crawl. i have made good progess and a recent scan showed great improvement in the dosc but i was left with sereve pain in right buttock and hip, dignosd by a physio as sereve tendonitus wheich i have had for 9 months now. i am in constant pain but am getting used to it. arounnd 6 weeks ago i awoke ( no trauma) to an agonizing shin pain, like i had been kicked hard in the shin.my physio has not ben able to help me and all we can do is cover my shin in green clay to try to calm te pain a bit. my gp triedn me on lyrica then increased the dose but no change, pain is constant and chronic. I swa a nurologiste yesterday who has started me on rivotril which helps me get through the night waking occasionally to take more. she has ordered a scann a bone scan and detailed nerve testing which will take place over the next month.i am beside myself and feeling very low, fortunate comparred to oters i have friends battling wit cancer who i am sure would like to exchange places! i wanted to try lidocaine patches but nurologist wasnt keen. i will try anything and would appreciate any help or if any of you have experienced similar. wishing you all a good day! many thanks.
