normal MRI after neck/back trauma

3 months ago, an occupation therapist, through his mistake, bent my head forward forcefully several times. Since then, I've developed pain in upper spine and neck, and also dizziness and nausea. The problems have been getting worse, intensified by moderate exercise or lying on a surface that's not smooth.

Because both of my cervical and thoracic MRI shows no new injury, doctors couldn't give me an explanation of my new symptoms, and I've seen 5 or 6 specialists. They seem to think all problems will show up in MRIs. Are they right?

One doctor suggests I have a fracture that can't be seen by MRI, as I have osteopenia. Can a normal X-ray see the fracture, or I need to have a CT Scan done to see the fracture? Is bone density study a good tool to see fracture of upper spine?

Also, do my worsening symptoms sound like a fracture to you?
