Hi I posted in May but can't find my post. I wanted to email those that responded for more info. Any, way I am re posting till can find my last post.
What I wanted to know is do most people with DDD, osteoarthritis, stenosis, etc etcin the neck end up with the cracking and popping and other disturbing noises? I have had issues in the past with my neck with pain down my arm but all was well and good till I asked a chiropractor to do what I thought would be a bit of a massage for minor pain. I also have all this degeneration going on.
He overstretched me causing burning pain and within probably a month the noises started and have gotten worse. My MRI was the same as 2 yrs ago.which was done about 2 mos after the incident. It is now 10 mos later. I have spurs with moderate central canal stenosis as well. It is hard for me to accept this and has caused me a lot of stress. I am just wondering if this would have developed on its own any way. I feel structures were moved that started all this. My dr just says it is the arthritis. The ligaments are catching on bone. The cracks are horrific! I did not know this was even possible. In between cracks, I get little crackling, gritty noises and sometimes snapping when move a certain way. Some of this I would be ok with but the loud hard cracks just can't be good. I can't move in bed without hearing something. Just was wondering if this is what everyone hears and how do you adjust to this. Thanks
