Neck and Back Surgery Recovery

Has any one tried Prolotherapy - stem cell from bone marrow injected into damaged muscles, ligaments and tendons? Or PRP - Platelet replacement Plasma therapy for post surgecial pain from cervical disk fusion surgery?

  • is the injection of sugar water into tendons , muscles and ligaments in an attempt to produce an inflammatory response.
It may help if the problems are only related to those issues. It is not helpful if there are anatomical problems in the spine.
How long ago was your surgery and what was done? Increased pain and nerve related pain are considered normal for a time
until your body heals and recovers from the surgery.
Fusion surgery can take a year or more to recover from, depending on the extent of it.......nerve pain can take weeks or months to recover from, because of the nerves being moved during surgery, as well as any damage that may have been there prior to surgery.
How long ago was the surgery?
