Spinal Injections

I have been under pain management for six months. At first I had three RFA's. The second one was wonderful. Then nothing after that. Then he did a series of caudal injection that were so painful and did absolutely nothing for me. Today I had a first in a series of transforaminal on the right side. I can't tell if that is working yet. Is this normal in a six month period? I asked him and he didn't answer me. It seems like I don't get any answers or have any communication with him at all. He is from another country but at least he could try to communicate with me. I have had a discectomy on L4 and L5 and fusion on L4 and L5 and also had a fracture on L1. I have a lot of back pain and leg pain. I refuse to have any more surgery which only leaves pain management and the only pain management in town is him. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
