Need some help!

Hi guys,

I have had back pain for about 3 years now and it's progressively getting worse. The last 3 months my left side of my back, butt, leg, foot, have been hurting really bad. I can no longer sit for long periods of time. It's affects my job because I can no longer stand in one spot for long periods of time. I have always wrote my back problems off due to my weight. I have gone only to my regular Dr. and she just gives me exercises to do for the pain. They are no longer working and it's just getting worse. I have switched Dr.s and I see this new Dr. tomorrow for the first time. Any tips on seeing this new Dr. I felt like with my other Dr. she only focused on my weight. I am obese and I know it's part of the problem, but I have been obese for a long time. I am not sedentary by no means. I am an active person and I feel like there's something wrong with my back that is now just weight related.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I feel like I'm starting to lose myself with this pain and unsure how to deal with it.
