Thoracic endoscopic laminectomy t10-t11 scared

Has anyone had any experience with a thoracic micro endoscopic laminectomy? I had a cervical fusion c5-c6 back in 2009 and that has done well. I have had mid back pain now for 2 years. The myleogram showed a left herniation at T10-T11. The neuro surgeon has scheduled me for the micro endoscopic laminectomy this Friday Oct 10th. I am super nervous and have been having a bit of anxiety. I cant find much information on thoracic surgery. Im worried about the laminectomy have any effect on the stability of by mid back. Im a 40 year old male and I am usually pretty active in the gym. Any information, past experience, or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
