Ent visit after dysphagia

Hi. Well after all the X-rays and ct with contrast. Mri of c spine with contrast and soft tissue of neck with contrast. I go to the ent who numbs my nose. Sticks the scope in and looks at my throat. My upper esoohagus and back of my voicebox is swollen even clear up UNder my adenoids. Ent proceeds to tel me it is t dangerous and that this sort of thing won't show up on any of those tests or scans. It's nice to know I'm not actually crazy after all. But I still ended up back on steroids again. My rheumatologist fel that as this has already gone on for a month now it was not going to clear up on its own and he didn't want it to become chronic for me. So here I am back on prednisone dose pack for 12 days. So far it has made medwel worse. This is a worry to me. My last A1C was 7.2. Triglycerides over 350. I have been on so many steroids the last 2 years I can't get cleaned off them long enuff for accurate blood work as my R hematologist feels I have sarcoid. I'm so fried. I was hopin I wud get back to normal after my surgery but I am still having issues and in the pain meds. The ent feels this is a combo from the surgery and acid reflux the part of reflux I find hard to believe as I was already takin orevacid daily. Then she added Zantac at nite I've phone. Now I've been switched to protonix in am and stay on Zantac at nite. I'm sure the presnisone will be wonderful on my stomach. Hope this helps someone else. Don't b disheartened if ur tests r negative cuZ look what's happened to me
