Knee pain

Hi everyone. I had a radio frequency ablation l4-s1 on my right facet joints back in August. A few days after that I started experiencing a great deal of pain in my left knee when bending it. I figured I'd just been in bed too long and didn't think much of it. By the end of my recovery it was both of my knees. I still didn't think much of it. I've had sciatica in my right leg for a few years and my gait has been a little off because of it sure that was why. But it's been months and both knees still kill me. Nothing helps. The pain doesn't even respond to my pain meds for my back which is why im beginning to wonder if it's nerve pain. None of my nerve pain has ever been helped by my pain meds. Has anyone ever heard of this? The pain is in the tops of my knees and when I bend them. I'm so afraid to ask my doctor because a.) it's been so long and I haven't said a word. And b.) I really don't want a fat lecture (for the record I've been heavier than this and never hand problems with my knees.) I have a herniated disk at l5s1 and from what I e read that shouldn't affect my knees.....but my big toe also feels like it's attached to electrodes constantly so I guess any things possible....

Any input would be great.
