What is the wait period for L4/L5 after a radio frequency ablation?

I had one 3 weeks ago, but lost the sheet.

I am fairly certain that it said to wait 4-8 weeks after the procedure to be certain if it worked or not.

Is there a wait period as far as work is concerned?

    Spinal stenosis since 1995
    Lumber decompression surgery S1 L5-L3[1996]
Cervical stenosis, so far avoided surgery
  • rocket science, but if you need to know if you can return to work, you could call the person who did the procedure. They know you and the procedure so they can advise you better than any forum.

I had 5 levels done last Wednesday. The doctor said could go back to activities or work as soon as I felt like it. Still having soreness and needle pain in lower back. If in doubt call your nurse assistant to your doctor.
  • I had five levels done in the lumbar region last Wednesday. My doctor told me to go back to activities as soon as I felt like it however I would call and check with your doctor. I still have quite a bit of pain just from the needle soreness and bruising.I think everyone is different.
