New to the forum - recovery going well but feels slow

Hi there,

I am two weeks out from my ACDF at C6/C7 with titanium cage. I'm 42 years old and had the surgery as a result of hurting myself lifting my 2 year old son of all things. I had him In a baby backpack and hoisted him up at the same time as turning to talk to him. That was that, and not long later I had this heat and stiffness creep g up my neck. Before long I had all the symptoms everyone here would be familiar with - shooting pain, electric shock type feeling and honestly it was the worst pain I had ever experienced, a 9 on several occasions.
