Hi everyone....quite a while since I posted. Been living w/arm pain off and on now for a couple years (supposedly due to some disc degeneration and bone spurs in Cerv spine.) I say supposedly because I thought it had to be due to my C-spine, but now an Ortho surgeon is trying to steer me a diff direction. I've been through phy therapy, chirop, traction and some natural supplements to keep everything at bay. The pain started 2 yrs ago with kind of a searing pain on the outside of my upper right arm, and one trip to the chiro really helped that. Pain doc and chiro both thought C5/6 the culprit. Since then, then pain transitioned to "burning" on the outside of BOTH upper arms, and most recently has transitioned to pain (which feels like muscle pain) in both anterior deltoids. That has become enough of a problem where I went to see Ortho surgeon (who I'd also seen about a year ago) on 12/19/14 to find out his thoughts. To my surprise, he wants me to go to their shoulder guy becuz he thinks it's a shoulder problem. I just find it hard to believe that I have issues in BOTH shoulders NOT due to my cervical spine. I don't want to start some expensive wild goose chase on this. Going to see Neuro surgeon this month to get his thoughts, but has anyone here experienced bi-lateral pain on the front shoulders due to stenosis?
