MRI clear from herniations

Spoke with my neurosurgeon and he said my MRI was clear of herniations. He also said the scar tissue there is normal for the type of surgeries I've had. 2 Microdiscectomies.

He agrees that it could possibly be the piriformis and/or si joint causing me problems. I've started acupuncture. I have done 2 treatments so far and notice a huge difference. I haven't taken an anti-inflammatory in days and I'm sleeping better. I will take the good days. I have learned a lot from this recent flare. I gave up running and I'm actually happy. I feel like there is so much out there to be explored and discovered. I am spending more time with friends and I'm keeping optimistic that this is just one of the storms I have to go through to get better.

If you live in chronic pain, I'd say give the acupuncture a try.
