Chronic Pain

I am 20 years old. It is 8 months post op my spinal fusion surgery. I had the surgery on May 27th to fix my scoliosis for "the quality of life." 6 weeks after the surgery I was walking and doing a lot. Now 8 months after the surgery I am in unbearable pain. The muscles in my lower back are always in complete spasms. I have tried absolutely everything it feels like. Physical therapy, injections, medications, epidurals, massages, acupuncture and more. Nothing has helped much. The doctors keep telling me I need to strengthen my muscles but I have worked hard to strengthen my muscles for the past 8 months and nothing seems to change. It is putting a dramatic toll on my family and myself. I just want to be able to enjoy life again. I am supposed to be studying abroad in Spain right now with all my friends. I tried going there and came home after 3 weeks because my back was not tolerating any of the walking and sitting. I can't deal with this pain anymore. I regret having the surgery everyday. If someone has any suggestions on what I can do to take this pain away, I would be so happy to hear. I would do anything at this point to just take away these muscle spasms and be able to walk normally and continue doing everyday activities. Please let me know. Thank you.
