I had TILF fusing L4-S1. Pre op I had "odd" nerve involvement of my right leg - 2" strip of thigh, arch of foot would be "on fire", pins and needles doesn't cover it. Post op, my leg felt numb somilar to when one has been to the dentist for a filling... Could feel my leg was "there" but that odd numb feeling, whole thigh and arch of foot was just numb (not on fire though). When pain was at worse instead of technically feeling pain, I have extreme nausea. (To the point they 3x dosed me with of ran in hospital to get post op X-rays day 1 post op)

Now 4 weeks post op, still have nerve issues that vary, am able to get around the house fine, but if I leave the house walker is required. I am having random/varying nerve issues, pre op MRI gave no clear indication on nerve involvement. Majority of bone was removed for disc removal on right side, I can't lay on that side at ALL. I guess I'm asking if this is at all normal. Pain mess don't ever make me feel "comfortable" as I'm always in some level of pain more then I feel like I should be - but that is also complicated by the fact I had Gastric Bypass surgery 3 years ago to try and manage my weight to hopefully avoid this surgery. Anyone else have any of these issues.
