is l4l5 microdiscetomy scar tissue/swelling causing l5s1 symptoms?

I am currently 5 months post microdiscectomy and have recently been noticing numbness and dull aches in my toes as well as my s1 nerve route below my knee. My outer calf, heel, big toe, ball of foot and pinky toe are all experiencing mild aches and numbness. My question is can a l4l5 microdisectomy create swelling or scar tissue that has the ability to cause symptoms along the l5s1 nerve route?
