Few years back I developed a stabbing pain on the left foot one day. When I visited the GP, he told it was just an inflammation, asking only to apply Bengay. I got the same pain after one year, and it remained almost dull and constant on my left foot.
After few years, I started experiencing pain in the left groin and left hip, left abdomen, perineum (where both legs join), coccyx, and left buttock. One year later, I started experiencing the pain in my left wrist and palm, and now the pain is also behind the left shoulder.
Now all these pain on the left side from shoulder to foot, remain, dull and constant, worsens during heavy activities, or stress.
I have seen several specialists (orthopedic, neurologist, urologist) for this weird chronic pain, none of the doctors were able to diagnose. Other than a small L5-S1 disc bulge in the MRI, and a very small lymph node swollen in the left groin, all the other tests were unremarkable, and clean. Doctors were saying the lymph node and L5-S1 is not the reason for this pain on one side. Other than this nagging pain, I'm perfectly fine otherwise.
Pain killers doesn't help always. The antibiotics, and medications didn't work as well. Alternative therapies like acupuncture, etc didn't work. This is tough for a man like me in 40's, this constant nagging pain affects both life and work.
Any help on how to deal with this chronic pain, has anyone seen similar weird pain from head to toe on one side?
Who is the specialist who can investigate my pain, and how do I deal this constant pain?
