Dangerous sports fun versus your chronic pain

Ya know who you are. Perhaps your condition is a direct result of your outdoor and indoor sport . I was paid to ski, climb, and preform winter outdoor sports here in Colorado for many years. Finally I paid the price. Semi-crippled. This was not surprising to me.
I know the stages of grief , anger, sadness and the rest. Do it. But then get on with your sporting life. It's important. Your sports injury should not stop your interests in the sporting life. I must say that I still grieve over my inability to alpine ski. Boo Hoo. But I know that a person can develop a new sport. Do it.
In the meantime, i sure hear those of you who are hurting.
