Has anyone had success with Fibrin Sealant injected into one of their lumbar discs? I live in Scottsdale, AZ and there is a doctor here doing that. May be a possibility for me. I have prior fusion of L4 thru S1... I live pain free for 5 years after my fusion surgery... Doing all kinds of long distance hiking and bicycling. I tried mountain climbing, canyoneering with technical gear and heavy backpack and now I have symptoms in my disc above the fusion surgery. I would like to not have another fusion. I am looking into options such as Fibrin Sealant, Stem cells, Platelet Rich Plasma. Would like to hear about successes and failures. Looks like I have grade two annular tears in my L3/L4 disc with disc derangement and discogenic pain. Thank you for any input. I have read some scary stories and some success - I am trying to determine if the scary stories are the exception to the rule or are happenning too frequently. THANK YOU
