I recently underwent a L4 L5 S1 360 back surgery, Wow. It was extremely painful. Six months out of surgery and just feeling better but still in pain. I remember eight weeks after surgery and had worries if surgery was the right thing. I could barely walk before surgery and had suffered from limp right leg movement and had no feeling from the thigh down to my big toe. Because it was worker comp case i layed flat in bed for a year and half before i was able to get anything done. Right after the surgery and i mean about one or two hours after, they had me walking and i could right off notice i walked better than before.
Im on my seventh month and about to start therapy and the pain has subsided a lot. Im 38 years old and i feel i have a lot of healing still. Im told it will take about two years before im back to where i was before the injury . Something the doctors didn't explaine was that wiping your ass is much different and difficult.
