I am on the Fentenyl patch, 50 mcg. I was taking dulaydid, 4mg 3X daily. I have run out of dulaudid because I am transitioning from my neurosurgeon to PM. I don't go see PM for another week. I was on Dulaudid for a month. Could I be experiencing withdrawl even though I am still using the patch? I also take 350 mg Soma and 600 mg gabapentin twice a day.

  • Any time you're taking less medication than your body is used to having there is a potential for feeling different. In a lot of cases, it depends on what class of medication is being taken. If that's what is making you feel bad, it won't last too long.

  • Did you just have surgery? What was the surgery for?? I'm sure if you just had a procedure done, the neurosurgeon wouldn't mind filling a small script until you get into the pain specialist.
