Hello Everyone!

I have been reading/searching around this site for a year or so and reached the point that I am searching for others that I can relate to, this is my first post here.

On 01/30/15 I underwent spine fusion from S1-L4, this is my second back surgery, my first was 17 roughly years ago an was discectomy in my lumbar as well (I am currently 38).

I am writing this today because I have become extremely discouraged over the past few days. I work in an office environment and have wanted to return back to work as soon as possible because I cannot afford any loss of income. I was given a return-to-work with restrictions like not bending, twisting, lifting, etc. and advised to work in my office as tolerable them from home if possible. I returned to work on 3/2/15 and have been increasing the hours each day now working a full 8 hour day. During the past few days and including work yesterday (3/9/15) I started feeling some of the pre-op pain return to my groin area and of course the famous numb leg and back pain. Today I ended up leaving work after 6 hours because I just needed to lay down and relieve the pain.

Now I am confused/discouraged/sad/etc/etc..... Can anyone relate or am I just off base?

Thank you to all for reading this and especially to anyone that may respond.
