HI there I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Paul - I have been on the website lots of times looking through the forums as its helpful to read that other people are suffering as well.
I have experienced undiagnosed back problems since my late teens, initially it started as pain in my middle back and occasionally under my shoulder blade. I chose this section as it mentions leg pain.....
I'm 33 now (34 this year
) and the problems are on-going. I have been to my GP many times and recently been to see another physio who recommended Pilates which I am still in the process of looking into.
Now I know a lot of you really suffer and what I have is nothing in comparison but at the minute its really getting me down.
I have been getting constant pain in my lower back, it clicks and clunks like I'm an old man. I get a really strange sensation in my left calf and down the back of my left leg, its sore, today it feels like I've pulled the muscle but only when I walk, when I sit down the pain changes and it feels like my calf muscle is twitching and tingling.
At other times my calf is fine for a week and I have a pain in my shoulder that take my breath away.
Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself - I have registered with a local private physio and booked in for an assessment this weekend, I don't expect a miracle cure but just to get some insight into what it is would be relief. I always fear the worst and get very agitated worrying about it.
So Hi to you all
