Just thought I would post my review about DTS as from my experience it seems to be the most popular treatment recommended by chiropractors
I have a herniated disc and bulging disc in my lower back. I went to a spinal specialist and they recommended a course of DTS, physio and adjustments. I paid about 1300 USD for 30 DTS treatments, 20 physio sessions and the chiropractor gave me adjustments included each week.
Far and away the most expensive part was the DTS and I also feel it didn't actually do that much. I was having around 3 treatments a week and at the start it did seem to help with the pain. But I feel what really helped was the physio - we did a lot of work on powerplate and this really helped strengthen my core.
I Was lucky as my insurance covered the cost if the treatment but for those considering DTS I would recommend trying Physio alone first. I do think that DTS might help to relieve a bit of pain but I don't think its a cure and in my opinion it's way over priced.
Nowadays I am exercising my lower back and abs 3-4 times a week and can bend normally and have even started running again. I'm not healed but I am a lot better than 4 months ago.
So I advocate exercise and stretching
