Not nervous yet.
I've been dealing with back problems since i was 24.I'm now 44.
Most of my pain is mechanical with minimal legpain.Ive always had problems with my right side but when pain started on both sides i knew it was time.
I researched ADR but my facets are not ideal for ADR even though 1 European doc said i'd be fine.
I love my surgeon and everyone i speak to from nurses, to patients even a rep from Nuvasive says im in excellent hands.
Im going to try and stay positive and i cant wait to start my rehab.I love to walk and timed this perfectly with the beginning of warmer weather..
Most people i know or read about usually wait until the pain becomes so unbearable to have a surgery of this magnitude.
If i waited any longer, my facets, discs and stenosis would just continue to degenerate.
This is sort of like a pro-active fusion i guess.
An injury at work started this road i've had to follow most of my adult life.
I'll keep this post updated after my surgery in hopes i can be of some assistance to others dealing with this.
Wish me luck...
