First of all, thank you for taking your time to read this.
About 10 days ago, I had an injury which left a feeling of numbness on my right thigh area.
After going to the doctor and getting a MRI, I found out that I have a disc bulge in the L4-L5 area which was impinging on my epidural fat.
That is what the MRI result said. I'm guessing this was also causing the numbness in my right thigh.
I don't have too much pain now, but I have a WEIRD feeling on my lower back sometime.
My doctor said the injury is permanent and that surgery wouldn't be worth it. I have a few questions I would like to ask this community, however.
1. Is it really bad for me to be sitting down? I'm pretty much required to sit and work at a desk for several hours a day. Will I no longer be able to do this?
2. I understand that some things are off limits for me now. Does this include running, jogging, etc?
3. Will it get worse as I age?
Thank you so much. I'm just really scared now...
