sciatica/herniated disc

My L345 are herniated/bulging plus sciatica im trying not to take narcotics but I have taken 12 ibuprofen in one day with no relief. Been to Dr he said one of 3 choices......live with it, pain mgmnt or back fusion. Being that I've had a diskectomy and it only lasted a year not even considering surg. He said I have some nerve damage and will get worse. Is there anything I can do to relieve pain.

I did pain management, and it best decision I made.

Tell the doctor how you want to stay away from narcotics. They are not life long treatment for many.
But also think about all the ibuprofen you take.

That can't be doing a body good either.

PM doctor will work with you....to your very best outcome.
    Good luck to you!
