One of the bigger problems we see here are when members start to provide other members with medical advice.
They are telling other members
- What medications they should take
- What kind of exercises they should do
- How to diet
- Other personal treatments
- Advising about surgery or not
I understand people mean well and are only trying to help others. But this can be a dangerous situation. Since we are all online, no one really knows the other person's details.
Therefore, it is impossible to provide someone with advice on how to handle as given situation. Plus it is a forum violation5.06 You agree not to post information that is considered to be formal medical advice.
What is good for one person, does not mean its good for another and it is also potentially dangerous to another.
So, please while you are composing your comments, keep this in mind and refrain from posting any medical advice.
