Can not walk

MelodyMMelody Posts: 1
I can't walk without a walker. I can't put pressure on, or lift lght leg on my own. If I try I have excruciating, shooting pain down the center of my leg to knee. I had L4-L5 spinal fusion years ago, and it's hurt on and off since. I've been having more hip pain lately, and then yesterday out of the blue I almost fell. I'm 45 and can't walk without the walker. I'm scared and don't know what to do. I went to ER but there was nothing they can do. The pain is SO terrible that I don't know what to do. Laying down/sitting it just aches a little. But, if I try to walk. It just doesn't work. Does anyone know what it may be? I have arthritis in the hip, but this is something more serious. They put a titanium rod on my spine because the vertebrae were "collapsing". Could it be sciatica? Thanks! Only take Ibuprofen, and low dose Tramadol.

What has your doctor said about your situation?

I still would not just say , Its only arthritis. That can be very serious and prevent you for putting any pressure down. A hip that needs to be replaced is going to cause a lot of pain.
