I am 22 years old. I had a L4/L5 spine fusion (4 screws, 2 rods, disc spacer and bone graft) exactly one year ago (June 2014). One year later i am still recovering and experiencing post-op pain. I have pain in the low back exactly on my scar and in my left hip. Constant pain just in the left hip Si joint. What should I do? I am getting an epidural for the pain and am seeing a neurological chiropractor and it is slowly improving but I am just wondering if anyone else out there has struggled with pain and walking long distance a year after surgery??? How long does it take to fully recover?
