Atlas Mis Alignment

Hey Folks. For months I experienced a number of issues. Stiff neck, dizziness, coordination issues, problems with my right eye, walking problems, tight muscles in my legs, weak grip, sciatica...you name it..I had it. It was rough. After battling different doctors I went to a very well known wellness/chiropractor doctor here in St. Louis. He diagnosed me in two visits. My atlas was mis aligned, I had some inflammation/arthritis at C6 from postural stress, my nerves in my t spine were not functioning properly due to postural issues with my neck, my hip was way out of alignment, and I was applying more pressure to my right foot. My right foot is much flatter than the left. He said this could take about a year to fully resolve with therapy and adjustments. After a few adjustments..I'm feeling a little better..not 100%, though. But definitely some improvement. I asked him if it was safe to begin lifting weights again (I've been out of the gym for 5 months and it's killing me). He said it was completely safe just as long as I don't do any heavy over head lifting. He said I was better off sitting while lifting and avoiding the tread mill. He said to bike. Has anyone experienced atlas issues before? Is it safe to begin working out again?
