Hello all. I wanted to introduce myself to the forums. This is my second post on here and I must tell you it is Great to know there are others out there who go through the daily hell that I do. Its not as alone feeling anymore.
I originally ruptured L4/L5, L5/S1 back in 2002. Had surgery(Disctectomy/Laminectomy) in 2005. And had a great 7 years pain-free. Then 2012 came around.
Between 2012 and 2013 I saw multiple doctors with similar but worse symptoms than I had before my last surgery. It ended up taking me going to the ER after a horrible flare up to find out I had re-ruptured the 2 discs, and 4 more. Many years and many doctors later, I now have 4 in my lower and 4 in my upper back ruptured. Every day is a struggle. My new pain manager has a new plan but I am very skeptical. I haven't strung together 2 pain free days in a row for 3+ years. I'd love to hear any advice people have. I currently use a medical back brace, daily stretching(2x/day), inversion table when tolerable, have had 6 epidurals, nerve blocks, take Opana ER and Tramadol(useless) for pain and a steroid pack for flare ups(currently in the worst pain of my life) Welcome to Spine-Health
