Post surgery l4/5 bulging disc

Had my op on 23 April this year and left calf on the back and outer side and foot are permanently cold and numb. Just had nerve conduction studies and EMG which he has requested my spinal consultant gets me another MRI due to limited motor and sensory function in left foot and calf. I walk all day in my job (admin in a busy ward in hospital) and have had to get a walking stick to prevent me falling when I get really tired (I walk with a limp) as can't put full weight on left foot. What are the
I key outcomes and has anyone else suffered anything similar? I can't drive and feel like my whole life has changed so much due to this. In hoping MRI will show something is still pushing on a nerve so possibly further surgery? Also I get electric shock sensation in left foot and calf, especially when opening bowels. If anyone has gone through similar would love to hear your experiences
