Degerative Disc Disease

EnnaEEnna Spain but BritishPosts: 21
I am hoping this is the correct place to put my question.

I would be interested for some information. I am waiting for an appointment with a spine specialist in Valencia. I have plenty of pain killers but over the past few months my herniated discs have been crunching together. I have 3 discs L3/S1, L4/5 and L3/4

I notice if I turn to lift anything out of the back of the car, or that sort of movement, I can feel my discs rubbing together. There is no pain other than the usual pain with pinched nerve/sciatica.

Just curious whether the crunching of these 3 levels means my discs are for want of another workd knackered. Gone Thanks

  • for many years. And I don't have terrible pain, but a stiff lower back and I manage...do stretches and heat/ice and joint supplements. It's plain and simple dengeneration. I've lost a couple inches due to this degeneration. I've had a lower back issue starting at 18 and I'm 77.

I've had yrs of chiro work and osteopath work and acupuncture and keep bending. Also, I wear a neoprene back support....
Supports can really help, I use them for my knee and foot/ankle.

I'm dealing with a mess from hip replacement 5 yrs ago.
