Hope all will go well with your surgery. Did you ever get the lsit of items I sent you that you'll need in the hospital and during your recovery. You probably did, as you seem to have prepared well for your surgery.

Now just try to relax, think positive thoughts, listen to some nice music maybe.

Wishing you the best for your surgery and a speedy and successfull recovery.

  • cherry, I just wanted to wish you well during your surgery. It sounds like you have done all that you can to prepare, and now you just have to let the doctors do their job and get you on the road to feeling better. Good luck with surgery on Thursday.

Maryann, I posted in your thread, but just wanted to add another few words of encouragement. You will be so glad when the big day is over and you are getting better. It is hard to be in limbo, but you will soon be starting the next phase of your neck issues.

Best of luck to both of you.

Surviving chronic pain one day at a time, praying for a reprieve because living another 40 years like this doesn't sound too fun!
  • This will be me on Sunday, that is if I don't chicken out!

  • Hi Saltzyworks, you sound like me. I am hoping the Pre-op people are very fast, stick in an IV and shoot me up with some good drugs (Ativan anyone?) Otherwise I might just get up and walk out :?

Good luck to all you Pre-opers, prayers and good thoughts are coming your way. Sue
  • I don't know if you will get this message in time, but good luck with your Surgery tomorrow. It sounds like you have done everything humanly possible to prepare yourself, so now everything is in God hands and the well skills surgeon's hands.

Look forward to seeing you on the otherside of recovery.

    Godspeed! Pebbles
