Hello, My name is Shelly and I live and work in beautiful Napa, California. I have been peeking at the community boards/forums since last fall, reading all I could about back pain and surgery. Thanks to all those who have been able to share their stories, I think it helped me to better understand my condition, and make the right decision about my surgery. I recently (May) had surgery on my L4 and L5, and I was so fortunate that it was successful. I posted in the Surgery section, just to give some positive information to anyone considering the Dynesys Stablization procedure. I was able to find relief from my pain, and I hope everyone in this community is able to as well :)

  • Hi Shelly and welcome to Spine-health.com I posted a quick reply to your other post in the surgery forum - it sounds like you had a very successful outcome :)

All the best to you and keep us posted with your progress... Bruce

The Spine-Health Web site offers so much more than these Member Forums.
Check the various tabs at the top of the Spine-Health page and you will find so much that is offered here.

I see that you are from and work in Napa, California. Could it be anything to do with the wine industry out there? Thats just one of my major passions, the study, the making and the drinking of wine.

Its great to hear about success stories from people with lumbar surgeries. The entire procedure for lumbar approaches has changed so much. There have been major improvements in this area just in the past several years that make the procedure somewhat easier and the success rate and recovery period much more solid.

    Welcome aboard.
