Nerve Pain in Arms and Shoulders.

I have chronic nerve pain in my shoulders & wrists, which is increasing. I have cervical disc degeneration & 3 cervical discs fused 18 years ago.
At the moment using low dose LYRICA, but side effects are heavy, including some sharp groin pain in the past.

I can't tolerate NEURONTIN, side effects even worse, can anyone suggest other nerve pain drugs ? (I live in England).

  • I take Imipramine for nerve pain, I started with amatriptaline but was like a corpse in the morning!!
Then went on to nortriptaline which was much better but now I take imipramine it helps loads with -for me- no side effects.
Just started on gabapentin this week & I keep forgetting where I'm going or what I'm doing :/ hope once it's in my system that stops!!!!
    All the best
