Can someone please give me more information on having a SCS implanted for Cervical Neuropathy pain. I am having the trial done on October 29, 2015. I am so scared that it will not work. Had anyone had success with implantation at C4-C7. Had a ACDF of C5-7 in 2013. Neuropathy pain started approxiamately a year and half ago. Doctors cant agree on what to call it. Origianl nuero dr says the neck is stable, pain management dr says not, saw an orthopedic surgeon yesterday that classifed it as Cervicalgia(blanket word for we dont really know what is wrong). Sick and tired of being sick and tired. Ended up in the ER yesterday because Butran patch making me violently ill. Please any advice would be appreciated feel like I am falling in a hole. Take additional medication, and have had multiple treatments, see a physichiartrist.

  • Hey did you get the SCS? I have had the same issues you have pretty much. My ACDF is c5-6 and have always had pain after. I remember they said cervicalgia about me too. I've had an SCS for almost 3 years now and the only real issue is it is very positional and if I turn it up too high I can't walk. Let us know how it's going!
