Shoulder blade pain

I had a bad fall at work almost 3 months ago and am still dealing with so much pain.
Pain start on my right shoulder place then travels down my arm to my hand. It feels like I've had something jabbed in my back. I had a spinal MRI and thank goodness all good. Im having difficulties extending my arm at shoulder level for more than few minutes. I've completed 2 months of physical therapy and unfortunately did not help.
I just turned 40 years old, I have a 3 and a 5 year old and this injury has caused physical and emotional pain.
Being a work injury, approval takes a wile. I'm so over being told I have muscle or bone bruising. The Dr. Finally suggested I have MRI on my arm and shoulder but have to wait for approval from work comp department.
I'm wondering if anyone has similar pain, and if you've been diagnosed. I just want to have an idea of what I'm dealing with.
Thank you!

Neck issues & shoulder issues often have the same symptoms.
I was also injured at work. I complained of neck & shoulder pain. I had MRI of my neck & shoulder. All the doctors kept telling me that the problems were coming from my neck. My mri said I had herniated c4-5 & I was told that my shoulder mri came back saying no problems with shoulder. I ended up having c4-5 fusion surgery.
After that surgery, I kept telling my doctor that my shoulder was getting worse. He sent me to pain management. My pain doctor did several injections in both neck & shoulder. Things were still getting worse.
So I found a new orthopedic doctor. He read the report from my shoulder mri & told me it said "suspicious of a tear".
He then sent me for an Arthogram & that came back saying I had a full tear in my rotator cuff. I had surgery to repair it last June.
