Right Foot Pain

Good day

I had a disc (L5/S1) that slipped in 2012. I went in for a day surgery to have the disc repaired, wound up in the hospital for 4 days. Surgeon nicked the spinal cord and created a small hole, that needed to be repaired. Had one of the best surgeons in the city lined up, apparently he wasn't able to the surgery, so he had another surgeon step in for him. The story goes down hill from there. I have had chronic pain in my right since then. I have been on the following pain meds since then for pain. My foot is very cold, it feels like I am walking on nails or glass. At times it gets hot. I can walk well.
Gabapentin - 800 mg x 3 times / day
Desipramine - 25 mg x 3 at night
Baclofen - 10 mg x 3 times / day.

Pain increased, so I had another MRI, a second surgery was lined up. I switched surgeons. At least this surgeon met me right before the surgery to chat with me. This time I had a spacer inserted in-between L5/S1. This was done in early 2014. The surgery went well. I am still in chronic pain and I am not the same pain meds.

I am slated for another MRI and surgery in the near future (early 2016). This time he wants to do a spine fusion on L5/S1. I am running out of patience and the pain is constantly there. I have gone for 3 steroid shots in my lower back, I have gotten some relief from that. I will look at my file and add more info, but this is a quick overview.
In the last 6 days or so I am getting minor tingling in my right arm, from the elbow to my finger tips. Does this get any better or what?

Can anyone else give me any insight to their experiences? I would really like to hear them.

I had 2 L5S1 disectomy too.  My foot sounds like yours.  Hopefully someone here knows something.  My quality of life mostly is on my couch.  My foot hurts it feels like it's burning yet freezing and feels like I have bands wrapped around my toes.  Kinda feels like my foots in a vice grip and I think sitting makes it worse.  I feel too like I'm walking on huge blisters.  I wonder if I'm the only one in the world that carries a magic bag in my purse to heat up to give some relief or at the very least warm my foot.  I see my neurosurgeon next Tuesday and have a 3rd MRI on the 24th of Feb.  Now my surgeon finally is also going to look at my L4S2 as I'm getting more burning in my thigh on the opposite leg.  Kinda scared of another surgery cause every time I come out I'm in worse shape.  Not saying it's my surgeon, maybe scar tissue?  I just mostly want my life back.  And my 12 yr old wants his back too.  We used to be so active and now it's a chore to go down the stairs just to take the garbage outside.  It's unbelievable how ones life changes in just under 6 months.  And I don't understand how I can loose most the feeling in my right foot aND calf but still have so much pain.  If I get some answers from my surgeon after my next MRI I'll post them.  Hope things improve for you and me and everyone here.  After reading your post I'm nervous about fusion next.  Ugh
L5S1..2 microdisectomies in 30 days maybe one more on the agenda. 4 bulged discs and one of them loves my spinal canal X2 :/ and a compression fracture . And now scar tissue wrapped around the nerve causing horrible neuropathy all over again.   VICIOUS CIRCLE :(
