Almost 3 years ago I tweaked my back lifting weights and it has been uncomfortable in the same spot ever since. I don't feel pain but in one specific point in my thoracic spine on the left I often feel discomfort and feel the need to crack it constantly for relief. I had a chiropractor look at and xray my back and he recommended stretching and foamrolling stuff. I've been doing that for awhile and my back is the same.
It was only recently I found out that it was my facet joint bothering me researching online. For awhile I had had a tough time describing or finding a cause for my problem, but I'm certain it's the facet joint (I think around T8?)
My question is: how do you treat this? It's uncomfortable often and the tightness and guarding around the joint is very annoying. And what type of doctor do I go see? Chiropractor was often little to no help.. Also I've know for years I have minor scoliosis; like a 6-7 degree curve. Don't know if that's important but I don't believe it's a big deal
