3 week post op

I had L5 S1 herniated disc Jan 6th with severe nerve compression. I really got along fine the first week post op. The second week I felt like I ran into a wall with Sciatic nerve pain returning as well as left foot being numb. I have been told that it takes time for nerve re-generation, but I am afraid of re-herniation. Sciatic pain is not as bad as before surgery. Any and all comments would would be appreciated.

  • in the the second week most likely because you think in the first week you're doing well, you did lot activites. that's maybe causing the pain to come, but during 3 weeks the pain should've been gone.

im on post op weeks 3 too.
